The infamous J-Boots from EQ have returned!

A new quest added recently allows one to acquire a set of these boots, which grant a 25% movement speed buff for 1 hour, with a 5 minute refresh. The quest starts around Arlinora's retreat (Kaon Rush riftway) in Thestra, from a gnome named Hastey Bootstrut, who prides himself on running around the chunk at ridiculous speed, occasionally passing the entrance to the outpost on the road, which is here you should probably stand if you want to Hail him. He offers a quest requiring you to find a single Band of the Ancients, a single Shadow Rapier, and 3 Cojo's Golden Charms in return for the boots. These items are scattered across all 3 continents.

The Band drops from a 35dot6 Ancient Cyclopse in the Temple of Dailuk, Qalia, who roams around the chunk on the west side of the river, outside of the temple itself. The mob has a named version, Nerksawl, which is a 53dot6 overland raid mob, so if you see this up you're gonna have to wait for a server reset or a guild to raid him before you stand a chance at the PH version.

The Shadow Rapier (along with other assorted Shadow gear (no rent)) can be found off the Shadow Men in Misthaven Crossing, Thestra, which are in a static camp about half a chunk length north of the riftway in the chunk (loc -2454, -50000). The Charms are vendor bought, from a General Merchant in Ca'ial Brael named Cojo, who is a Raki. She is in the centre of the town, on the main platform of the largest tree which contains the other merchants/banker e.t.c.
